Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Software Engineer or Principal Software Engineer in Waynesboro, VA for on-site work with 10% travel. The role requires the ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. Government Secret Clearance and Special Program Access.

Responsibilities include HW/SW integration, firmware design, and real‑time data analytics. Basic Qualifications include a degree with experience in SDLC and Agile environments, with proficiency in C/C++, Python.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience, or master’s degree with 0 years of experience in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical fields; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
• U.S. citizenship required
• Ability to obtain/maintain an active U.S. Government Secret Clearance
• Ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP)
• Experience with SDLC
• Experience working in an Agile Environment
• Experience with software languages C, C#, C++, Python
• Experience with SW integration
• Effective verbal and written communication
