Job summary

Ignite Digital in the Norfolk, VA region is seeking an experienced Technical Analyst III to join our team supporting a high‑visibility U.S. Navy Software Maintenance Program.

This role requires a DoD SECRET clearance, a minimum of six years of experience in technical specifications development and process analysis, and strong problem‑solving abilities with the Navy or DoW context. A bachelor’s degree in a listed field is required and education stipends and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Sciences, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Psychology with HSI/HFE coursework.
• DoW SECRET security clearance is required.
• At least six years of professional experience in technical specifications development and process analysis.
• Proven ability in technical problem solving and analytical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Develop, refine, and manage technical specifications for Navy software maintenance and modernization efforts.
• Perform process analysis and design, identifying improvements and optimizing system workflows.
• Lead technical problem-solving activities and provide analytical recommendations to Navy stakeholders.
• Support system evaluation, interface requirements, and human-system interactions across complex Navy environments.
• Collaborate with program managers, engineers, logistics personnel, and cross-functional teams to ensure clear technical documentation and accurate requirements translation.
• Conduct research, assessments, and documentation supporting system sustainment and modernization.
