Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Oklahoma City, OK seeks a Systems Security Engineer to lead security across the system life cycle. You will apply RMF, NIST, CNSSI, and program protection practices in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

The role requires active DoD clearances, experience with cyber security engineering, and strong collaboration with suppliers and IPTs to implement secure architectures and risk mitigations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and 2+ years of relevant military / professional experience, OR a Master's Degree in a STEM field and at least some relevant experience
• Active US Government Secret or higher clearance (with BI within last 6 years or CE)
• Ability to obtain and maintain SAP clearance within a reasonable time
• DODD 8140.01 qualifying certification (e.g., Security+, CISSP)

Responsibilities

• Support Program Protection, SCRM, and vulnerability assessment activities
• Develop/update Program Protection & Counterfeit Prevention Plans
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and mitigation analyses
• Develop BOMs and perform Criticality Analysis of components
• Prepare technical documents and briefings for security efforts
• Interface with management and external stakeholders in an Agile environment
