Insight Global is seeking a Secret Cleared Software Engineer to support a U.S. Navy program in Suffolk, VA. You will join a team delivering mission-critical testing applications, contributing across backend and frontend with C#, ASP.NET, and Vue.js.

The role emphasizes Agile and DevOps practices within a complex enterprise environment. The position requires an active Secret Clearance, a BS in CS or related field, 5+ years of software development, and 2+ years building REST APIs with ASP.NET

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• 3+ years of experience developing applications in C# and ASP.NET.
• 2+ years of experience developing REST APIs using ASP.NET Core.
• Experience with SQL Server and relational database development.
• Experience working in Agile software development environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise software using C#, ASP.NET MVC/Core.
• Design, build, and support RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Develop and maintain SQL Server databases including querying and performance optimization.
• Contribute to frontend development using Vue.js.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across multiple applications.
• Collaborate with team, stakeholders, and leadership to deliver software solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and sprint planning.
• Develop and execute unit tests to ensure quality.
• Utilize Azure DevOps and Git for source control and CI/CD.
