Job summary

Groupe Kardol in New Jersey seeks a seasoned software quality assurance engineer to implement testing strategies, automate test scripts, and develop comprehensive test plans for releases.

You will build test scenarios, execute functional and compatibility tests, verify data with SQL, and collaborate across engineering teams to ensure all requirements are met before deployment. A current Active Secret clearance is required and the position is in-person.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics, Engineering/Science, or a related technical discipline
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience automating test scripts using Selenium, Cucumber, Appium, and Eggplant and experience with Atlassian tools.
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle.
• Experience writing Test Plans, Use Cases, Tractability Matrices, and Test Cases.
• Experience in writing and executing SQL queries for data verification, data validation and data integrity.
• Experience using Bug Tracking tools like Jira and source code version control tools like Git.
• Knowledge of the entire scope of test planning, test case/scenario/script development, execution, and reporting.
• Proficiency in Web technologies with strong QA methodologies.
• NAVAIR ALRE/SE experience would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement software testing strategies and automated test scripts.
• Assist in defining the scope of testing within a release and developing comprehensive test plans.
• Build test scenarios and test cases to ensure the system meets all requirements.
• Develop test scenarios and scripts reflecting the functionality of a software release.
• Assist in planning, deploying, and managing testing effort for a given release.
• Conduct testing activities for subsets of complex systems and subsystems.
• Perform functional testing on the application across versions of the release.
• Conduct software compatibility tests with programs, hardware, OSes, or networks.
