Job summary

Northrop Grumman is hiring for a Systems Engineer (level 2) / Principal Systems Engineer (level 3) to support the Sentinel Program in Roy, UT. You will join the Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis team, focusing on end-to-end latency, networking, and system analysis to ensure performance and security requirements are met.

The role requires a STEM degree with relevant experience, active Secret clearance, and ability to work on-site in Utah.

Qualifications

US citizenship with active Secret clearance at start date.
Experience with mathematical modeling and simulation.
Experience with MATLAB, Simulink or related tools.
Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals.

Responsibilities

Modeling, simulation and analysis for networking, security and cyber capabilities.
Analyze end-to-end latency and validate timing under varying conditions.
Network analysis: latency, throughput, jitter, packet loss; propose improvements.
Manage hardware/software computing budgets for performance and scalability.
Support database management and development activities.
Support MBSE strategy and requirements traceability.
Coordinate with subcontractors for contractual compliance and governance.
Contribute to presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
