Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a Network Engineer for the Fort Wainwright MTC under the MTCCS II program. You will lead design, implementation, and operation of classified and unclassified networks, coordinating with multiple training sites and external organizations to ensure secure, reliable communications for exercises and events.

The role requires a BA/BS degree or equivalent experience, 5+ years in network architecture, SEC+ with DoD IAT II, and a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent relevant years of experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ related experience in network architecture design, implementation, and management.
• SEC+ certification required; DoD 8570.01-M Baseline CE requirements at IAT II; CCNA preferred.
• Secret clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, implement, and oversee classified and unclassified MTC WAN/LAN networks.
• Coordinate network design with external networks and training sites.
• Configure equipment and assist with installation of circuits for distributed exercises.
• Install, configure, maintain, and secure networks and related devices.
• Configure, document, test, troubleshoot, and update network documentation for simulation networks; troubleshoot TCP/IP, multicast, UDP, and tunneling devices.
• Apply RMF/CSRMF compliance, patches, SRG/STIGs, and access controls.
