Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join a large federal contract. You will work across Cisco, Brocade, and Juniper networks with expertise in LAN/WAN/WLAN, routing, switching, and network security.

You will serve as a Tier III escalation point, supporting engineering, configuration management, change management, and lab validation for future enterprise solutions. Qualifications include 3+ years in network engineering focusing on Cisco or Brocade, OS updates on devices, STIGs

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a network engineering role focusing on Cisco or Brocade
• Experience updating OS on network devices
• Experience with STIGs on Network Devices
• Active Secret Clearance or Security+ / IAT II equivalent

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical resource and escalation point for complex network issues
• Support engineering, configuration management, change management, lab validation, and future enterprise network solutions
• Update operating systems on network devices and perform patching

This person will be responsible for working across, Cisco, Brocade and Juniper networks and bring strong expertise across LAN/WAN/WLAN, network boundary engineering, routing, switching, network security, and Tier III troubleshooting. This position will serve as a technical resource and escalation point for complex network issues while supporting engineering, configuration management, change management, lab validation, and future enterprise network solutions. This person will also be responsible for items such as updating operating systems on network devices as well as STIG checklists. Patching experience will be required for this role.
