Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Controller to join a federal program at Scott Air Force Base. The role includes incident investigation, telecom support, and maintaining security posture across critical warfighter networks.

Responsibilities cover configuring and testing network devices, alarms analysis, and 24/7 shift readiness. Qualifications require DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 and a HS diploma with 3+ years in a technical discipline.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 3+ years in a technical discipline.
• DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ CE or equivalent) required before start.
• Able to work in a 24/7 shift environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct network and telecommunications system incident investigations.
• Identify and document network errors and solutions.
• Analyze network and telecommunications alarms to identify issues.
• Configure, test, install, troubleshoot, and maintain network devices (firewalls, crypto devices, routers).
• Manage network devices and telecom systems (phone systems, voicemail, switches, VTC, circuits).
• Work with MSPP, Promina, ATM, and Optical Networking equipment.
