Job summary

Systems Technology Forum LTD (STF) provides professional network and IT support to NIWC Pacific in Hawaii, supporting COMPACFLT operations. The Network Administrator ensures seamless data flow, implements improvements, and trains both military and civilian personnel in IT tasks.

The role requires a Secret clearance, with on-call duties and no travel, centered in a DoD environment for government clients.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of network design, installation, operation.
• Experience implementing and supporting virtual environments (VMware, NetApp).
• Proficient in ASA, ISE, VOIP, STIG, IAVA, Comply-to-connect, Nessus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise as the resident Network Administrator for NIWC Pacific and COMPACFLT.
• Identify network/system enhancements and develop/execute project plans.
• Provide primary technical continuity and training to military/civilian IT personnel.
• Oversee IT tasks, monitor progress, and report status.
• Research hardware, interface with vendors, request quotes, and prepare procurement docs (ITPRs).
• Plan and coordinate new devices/tech installations for foreign partners.
