Job summary
Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Systems Engineer - Mission Effectiveness/Ops Analysis to join our team in Melbourne, FL. You will perform modeling, simulation, and analysis to support program development and mission readiness.
The role requires a STEM degree with experience in operations analysis or virtual simulation tools, plus the ability to communicate across disciplines. U.S. citizenship and a DoD clearance eligibility are required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in a STEM field and 2 years of related experience OR Master of Science in STEM with 0 years experience.
- Ability to transfer and maintain a DoD Secret clearance (in-scope or CE) and program access as required.
- Experience with operations analysis and/or virtual simulation tools such as AFSIM, Brawler, NGTS, or MATLAB.
Responsibilities
- Operate in an agile team environment to support program development and related R&D projects.
- Develop mission scenarios and assess operational effectiveness of systems in representative environments.
- Develop and/or integrate simulation frameworks and weapon system models for real-time testing.
