Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Systems Engineer - Mission Effectiveness/Ops Analysis in Melbourne, FL. You will join the SEI IPT and support modeling, simulation, and analysis for program development and evaluation.

The role requires a STEM degree with practical experience in operations analysis and virtual simulations, plus the ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance. Travel is modest and relocation support may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in STEM plus 2 years of related experience or a Master of Science in STEM with no required experience.
• Experience with operations analysis and/or virtual simulation tools (AFSIM, Brawler, NGTS, MATLAB).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform modeling, simulation, and analysis to support program development and research.
• Develop mission-relevant scenarios and assess operational effectiveness in representative environments.
• Develop or integrate simulation frameworks and components for air vehicle platforms, sensors, C2, and weapons.
• Model operational environments and conduct trade studies to recommend architectures.
• Create visualization models and databases for high-fidelity simulations used in training.
