Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Level 2 HVAC Mechanic for the Aerospace Structures team in Melbourne, Florida. This on-site role operates on a 9/80 schedule with first shift hours from 6:00 a.m.

to 3:30 p.m., performing installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems in an industrial setting. Qualifications include a High School Diploma/GED with 2 years of HVAC experience, EPA Universal License, and the ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 2 years of experience servicing HVAC equipment in an industrial or large commercial setting.
• Must possess Universal EPA License and be able to operate a large box truck.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a final adjudicated Top-Secret U.S. Government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Installs, services, modifies, rebuilds, and repairs HVAC systems per codes and safety regs.
• Performs inspections to locate equipment malfunctions.
• Conducts maintenance to prevent failures of compressors, fans, pumps, etc.
