Job summary

Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector seeks a Maintenance HVAC Technician – Level 2 to join the Chandler, AZ team. This 100% onsite role operates on a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off, focusing on maintenance, repair, and calibration of complex HVAC systems in industrial settings.

The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent with 4 years of related experience, EPA 608, and the ability to pass SEA background checks. Knowledge of clean rooms and MaxiMo CMMS is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent plus 2 years of related experience.
• Section 608 EPA Universal Certification required.
• Must pass background check for SEA.
• Experience cleaning evaporator coils, condensers, cooling towers, and troubleshooting electrical circuits.

Responsibilities

• Installs, services, modifies, rebuilds, and repairs HVAC systems and equipment in industrial/commercial settings.
• Performs preventive maintenance to prevent equipment failure and tests for leaks.
• Maintains centralized HVAC computer systems and makes program corrections.
• Installs and maintains high-technology clean room environments.
• Handles hazardous waste materials per regulations where required.
• Other duties as assigned.
