Job summary

Solidus Technical Solutions, LLC is seeking a seasoned FPGA Design and Verification Engineer to develop and verify high-performance hardware for on-site work in Tucson, AZ. The role spans requirements through integration and testing, using VHDL across major vendor platforms to support high-speed communications and embedded interfaces.

You will verify designs with constrained random tests, document verification plans, and collaborate across teams to deliver on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance is required.
• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant FPGA experience, OR Master's with 6+ years.
• Strong digital design and VHDL coding experience.
• Experience with Xilinx or Microsemi devices and flow tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver production-quality FPGA releases from PoC to production.
• Architect FPGA-based systems, determine parts, interfaces, and CONOPS.
• Translate system requirements into FPGA requirements.
• Code in VHDL for reliability and maintainability.
• Verify designs with self-checking tests and coverage tracking.
• Drive projects to meet schedules and budgets.
• Create full documentation including requirements, verification plan, and user guides.
• Support internal and external technical reviews.
