Job summary

Cherokee Federal is seeking a Financial System Administrator to support the Nellis AFB Comptroller Squadron from Mountain Home AFB, ID. US Citizenship and an active Secret clearance are required, with on-site workstation and financial-systems support responsibilities.

The role manages ABSS, DEAMS, DTS and IAPS, ensures security and continuity, and collaborates across AF/DoD financial systems to sustain uninterrupted operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 1–3 years of IA technology experience.
• Security+ CE IAT Level I certification required.
• Experience with ABSS, DEAMS, DTS and IAPS.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Windows, and Teams.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain staff workstations across locations, ensuring governance compliance.
• Apply patch updates and configuration changes to maintain security and functionality.
• Participate in annual training and serve as the IAO for Comptroller Units.
• Identify and report network issues to the network help desk for resolution.
• Provide hardware and software acquisition recommendations based on IT needs.
• Maintain printer inventory and ensure devices remain operational.
• Advise management on Air Force procurement channels.
• Act as Portal content and SharePoint administrator.
• Serve as Equipment Custodian and Telephone Control Operator (TCO).
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot financial applications (ABSS, AFM, DEAMS, DTS).
• Assist FSAs with application upgrades and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot application issues with helpdesks or Communications Units.
• Develop continuity procedures for financial applications using MS Office.
• Coordinate with ACC FSAs to share financial materials on SharePoint and other platforms.
• Manage telecommunications devices (iPhones, VoIP, VTC).
• Add, move, upgrade or patch PCs and peripherals.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
