Job summary

People Technology And Processes is seeking a Fleet/Generator Maintenance Technician for Fort Bragg, NC. The role requires maintaining over 360 vehicles, generators (3KW to 60KW), HVAC/ECU systems, and related equipment on site.

Responsibilities include PMCS, diagnostics, and completing required forms, with a focus on electrical/mechanical troubleshooting and safety compliance for military assets.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required.
• U.S. citizenship.
• Technical proficiency in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, component replacement, body repair, and power generation maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform PMCS and scheduled/unscheduled maintenance on wheeled vehicles, trailers, generators, and HVAC/ECU systems per manuals.
• Inspect, service, repair, replace, adjust, and test power plants, engines, and related systems.
• Troubleshoot automotive electrical systems including wiring harnesses and starting/charging systems using meters and diagnostic software.
• Complete DA Form 5988-E, DA Form 5990-E, and labor-hour worksheets accurately.
• Use Maintenance Support Device for troubleshooting, parts identification, and requisitioning NSNs.
• Create and maintain PA61 work schedules in GCSS-Army and provide weekly labor-hour reports.
• Assist with QA/QC inspections, road tests, recovery operations, and equipment turn-in.
