Job summary

The Building People is seeking an Operations & Maintenance Inspector in the Washington, DC area for an upcoming need. The role requires an active Secret Clearance and a proven track record in facility inspections and assessments.

Responsibilities include conducting system inspections, documenting deficiencies, estimating remaining useful life, preparing reports, and supporting QA/QC; candidates should have an Associate Degree and 7+ years of related experience, with preferred certifications

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance is required.
• 7+ years of inspection or facilities assessment experience.
• Associate degree in construction management, building sciences, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform facility inspections of building systems.
• Conduct condition assessments and inspections.
• Document deficiencies and code violations.
• Estimate remaining useful life of facility components.
• Prepare inspection reports and findings.
• Support QA/QC activities.
• Provide recommendations for repairs and corrective actions.
