Job summary

The Building People, LLC is seeking an Operations & Maintenance Specialist / Senior with an active Secret Clearance for our Washington, DC area operations. This role will oversee inspections, preventive maintenance, and documentation to support facility readiness.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in a related field and have 7+ years of O&M experience, including transition support for government facilities.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of operations and maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Document deficiencies and maintenance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections of building systems.
• Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Document deficiencies and maintenance requirements.
• Support transition of O&M services from GSA to DHS.
• Ensure facility readiness and code compliance.
• Assist with maintenance planning and reporting.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor's Degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Building Sciences, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of operations and maintenance experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Facility Management Professional (FMP).
• CMMS experience.
• Federal facilities experience.

*Salary offered will be commensurate with the candidate's experience, qualifications, and certifications.
