Job summary

DRT Strategies is seeking a Systems Engineer/Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain communications systems in various environments.

The role requires U.S. citizenship, an active Secret Clearance, and at least 6 years of experience with communications systems. The ideal candidate should have a degree or equivalent experience and be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

This position offers a chance to work with important federal clients and maintain critical systems.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Active Secret Clearance required.
• 6+ years of experience in complex communications systems.
• Certification at DoDINST 8570.01M IAT Level I preferred.
• Willing to travel 20% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical assists and CASREP support.
• Participate in engineering/design reviews.
• Assist in preparing and analyzing system designs.
• Troubleshoot and maintain CDL systems.
• Facilitate training and update curricula.
• Construct and integrate equipment racks.
• Conduct engineering analysis for obsolete hardware.
• Test and troubleshoot communications hardware.
• Design and install communications systems.
• Maintain documentation and configuration management.
