Job summary

Cherokee Nation Integrated Health (CNIH) is seeking a Molecular Assay Lab Tech IV to support assay development and diagnostic research at Fort Detrick, MD. You will perform molecular techniques, data analysis, and documentation in high-containment environments to advance mission-critical projects.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a life sciences field, hands-on experience with PCR and sequencing, and the ability to work independently with PIs and lab teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a life science with laboratory experience in molecular diagnostics or assay development.
• Hands-on experience with molecular biology and microbiology techniques including PCR and sequencing.
• Experience working in high-containment (BSL-2/3/4) environments and handling clinical/environmental samples.

Responsibilities

• Perform experiments for assay development and diagnostic testing in BSL-2/3/4 labs.
• Analyze data, maintain records, and support PI with documentation and reporting.
• Maintain equipment, assist with SOPs, and coordinate lab personnel and workflows.
