Job summary

ANSER seeks a Data Analyst to support an Office of the Secretary of War (OSW) client, leveraging data analytics, BI, and reporting to inform strategic decisions and enhance workforce visibility across the DoW.

The role covers dashboard development on Advana using Databricks, Tableau, SQL, Python, Java, and Qlik, with emphasis on data ingestion, security, and executive-ready insights. On-site in the Alexandria area with a secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Five years in a relevant role.
• Understanding of data security, ETL, and data integration best practices.
• Experience building dashboards on Advana and related platforms.
• Ability to present complex findings to senior leadership.
• Must reside within a 50-mile commute of Alexandria, VA.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and sustainment of an Advana dashboard across multiple systems.
• Deliver monthly/quarterly data briefs to senior DoW leadership using real-time dashboards.
• Develop on Advana with Databricks, Tableau, SQL, Python, Java and Qlik tools.
• Design and maintain QlikView and Qlik Sense dashboards and reports.
• Support data ingestion, cleansing, transformation, and loading within Advana.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to address DoW CIO data/reporting needs.
• Create and maintain program documentation and architecture design docs.
• Troubleshoot Advana-related technical and reporting issues.
