SecOps Engineer – Identity Operations Tech Lead

We’re looking for a Technical Lead to infuse the IAM team with innovative ideas and daring solutions. In this role you will deliver and support the company’s 24/7 identity platforms and services, ensuring secure and efficient identity and access management.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Recruit, hire, and develop a high‑performing identity operations engineering team.
• Provide coaching, career development, performance management, and professional growth opportunities.
• Foster a culture focused on innovation, continuous learning, and operational discipline.
• Drive adoption of innovative solutions to address complex, global IAM problems.
• Serve as technical lead and escalation point for team members.
• Provide technical leadership for incident, change, and problem management for 24/7 services.
• Monitor IAM system performance, conduct root‑cause analysis, and recommend improvements.
• Maintain detailed documentation, status updates, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams for compliance and risk mitigation.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience supporting, delivering, and securing IAM services.
• 5+ years of technical experience with Entra ID and/or Active Directory.
• Proficiency with authentication and authorization technologies (MFA, certificate‑based auth, LDAP, Kerberos, OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect).

Additional Preferences

• Experience in privileged access management, e.g., CyberArk.
• Experience with encryption and secrets management, internal CA, or digital signatures.
• Experience with Microsoft Identity Manager, ITIL, and cloud IAM (AWS and/or Azure).
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across distributed teams.

Additional Information

• Remote or Hybrid, onsite allowed if located in Indianapolis, IN.
• Shift: 9:00 am – 6:00 pm EST.
• Participate in on‑call rotation once per month.
• Travel 10‑15 %.

Compensation

Estimated base range: $63,750 – $198,000 per year.
