Alpine School District seeks an Instructional Paraprofessional to support the instructional program in the resource classroom, assisting in implementing plans for instruction and supervising students with special needs.

Hours total 29 per week across Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (6 hours) and Wednesday (5 hours). Hourly rates range from $15.61 to $16.62 depending on training, with in-district training available to qualify for the higher lane.

Qualifications

• Adapts classroom activities under supervision to support objectives and IEP goals.
• Administers immediate first aid and basic medical assistance as instructed.
• Assists in administering tests, homework, and makeup work for teachers.
• Supports data collection to monitor student progress.

Responsibilities

• Adapts activities and materials to reinforce classroom objectives and IEP goals.

• Assists with tests, homework, and makeup work to support instruction.
• Assists students with self-care activities to maintain personal hygiene.
