Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.

• Certification must meet requirements for qualification as per state/federal law.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to district philosophy; develop and implement lesson plans aligned to curriculum with documentation.
• Assess student learning styles and modify curricula for special education as needed per IEP.
• Create a positive classroom environment and manage student behavior per Student Code of Conduct.
• Establish and maintain communication with parents, students, principals and colleagues; present information clearly.
• Participate in staff development; comply with regulations and maintain required records and reports.
