Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in education or related field required.
2. Qualify, at the time of hire, for State of Delaware certification as a Secondary English Language Arts Teacher 9-12 (1540).
3. Applicant must demonstrate a level of knowledge and/or experience appropriate to the position.
4. Favorable criminal background and child protection registry check required.
5. Tuberculin test required.
6. Participation in Direct Deposit required.

Terms of Employment:

1. Salary based on State and local salary schedule.
2. Benefits in accordance with current Laurel Board policy.
3. Temporary for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year.
