Job summary

Howard County Public School System is seeking a motivated Secondary Computer Science Teacher to foster a dynamic learning environment for students. Under the direction of school leadership, the teacher will plan and implement a curriculum that prepares students for success in various career pathways.

This 10-month position requires a Bachelor’s degree and MSDE certification. The ideal candidate will demonstrate effective instructional methods and a commitment to student development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in an applicable field of education.
• Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) certification in Computer Science 7-12.
• Three previous years of related teaching experience preferred.
