Fort Worth ISD seeks a capable Senior Choir teacher for a pool assignment in the secondary program. The role reports to the Principal and follows the standard Fort Worth ISD calendar with 187 duty days.

Salary follows the Teacher Salary Schedule and requires a valid Texas teaching certificate or placement in an approved ACP. The ideal candidate will deliver rigorous, standards-based instruction, assess student growth, and engage families to support student learning in a diverse urban setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Valid Texas Teacher certificate or acceptance into an approved Alternative Certificate Program (ACP).
• Experience working with diverse student populations preferred.
• Bilingual fluency is beneficial in some settings.

Responsabilités

• Teach the District curriculum using standards-based, rigorous instruction and well-designed lesson plans.
• Monitor student progress and provide differentiated instruction.
• Develop instructional units and project-based learning with collaboration and student engagement.
• Assess and document student mastery using multiple assessment tools and data.
• Maintain accurate attendance, grade reports, and state/local assessment records.
• Apply effective classroom management and district discipline strategies.
