Job Description

Lower Merion School District is hiring for multiple Building SubstituteTeaching positions. Building Substitutes are guaranteed to work every day that students are in the building during classroom sessions. Building Substitutes will be assigned to one building, but may be required to support any of our 11 schools at the discretion of Human Resources.

Positions available for Secondary Schools with employment options through Lower Merion Schools.

• PA Certification on secondary grade level is strongly preferred.
• Emergency certification may be considered in certain circumstances.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students.
• Good standing relative to Act 48 credits.

Interviews will be scheduled when all application materials are complete.

Rate of pay: $195.00/Day (this is a non-benefits eligible position).

Applicant must have Act 34 and 151 clearances and FBI registration number. All clearances must be less than one year old.
