Job summary

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Education/Arts, a teaching certification for secondary education, and experience with IB curriculum.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Humanities, Arts or related field.
• Master’s degree in Education, Arts or related area preferred.
• Valid teaching certification or license for secondary education.
• Experience teaching visual arts and IB curriculum preferred.
• Familiarity with arts curriculum and educational resources.

Responsibilities

• Teach art to students in 6th–12th grade as core subject or elective.
• Promote an artistic environment and collaborative interdisciplinary projects.
• Develop and execute engaging lesson plans aligned with standards.
• Integrate arts with other disciplines to enhance learning.
