Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking qualified Forklift Operators for 2nd and 3rd shifts at a distribution warehouse in Shepherdsville, KY.

As part of the distribution team, you will move materials, perform material handling tasks, inspect loads, and help maintain accurate inventory using forklifts and pallet jacks. Candidates should be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to lift up to 50 lbs while standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical/associate degree preferred.
• Warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics experience is advantageous.
• Knowledge of inventory systems (SAP) preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and related equipment safely.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, inspect materials from trucks and report discrepancies.
• Move materials to storage areas or production lines using forklifts.
• Maintain accurate inventory records with regular stock counts and labeling.
• Prepare materials for shipment by packing and loading.
• Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
