Job summary

Liberty Tire Recycling in Grove City, OH is seeking a Yard Driver for the 2nd shift (3pm–12am). The role involves moving equipment around the facility, performing inspections, and operating yard trucks in a wet, noisy environment.

You will transfer trailers, complete trailer paperwork (gross, tare, net weights), assist with loading/unloading, and maintain safe operations in accordance with company policies. Prior tire recycling or manufacturing experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Prior tire recycling or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to back trailers into loading/unloading areas.
• Willingness to be trained and certified to operate forklift.
• Able to work in dirty, wet and noisy environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate yard trucks during roll-on/roll-off procedures with loaded and empty containers.
• Transfer trailers between trucks and position within the yard.
• Complete paperwork: trailer numbers, gross/tare/net weights, material type.
• Assist in loading and unloading tasks when needed.
• Back trailers into designated areas for loading/unloading.
• Maintain yard truck in good operating condition.
• Collaborate with team and follow safety standards.
