Job summary

GE HealthCare in Milwaukee designs and manufactures components for CT imaging systems, and seeks a Wet Chemistry Manufacturing Technician on second shift to support scintillator processing. You will operate wet-chem reactors, load/unload materials, collect data, perform sampling, and conduct analytical tests (ICP, PSA), while maintaining safety and quality.

Ideal candidates have a manufacturing/chemistry background, 2+ years of technical experience, and the ability to work with limited direction

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Associates degree with 2+ years technical experience in Chemical manufacturing.
• Proficiency to understand and interpret basic written technical information.
• Demonstrated ability to work well with limited direction and information.
• Highly detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
• Proactive, organized, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Run end-to-end wet-chem unit operations and operate reactors; manage transfers and sample handling.
• Perform in-process testing and prepare ICP/PSA samples; document results and flag trends.
• Own documentation and compliance with procedures and quality management system.
• Lead with safety and 5S; use PPE and address hazards as needed.
• Maintain production flow; provide shift handoffs and communicate status clearly.
• Protect yield and cost; monitor materials and assist troubleshooting and maintenance.
