Job summary

Curtiss-Wright – Middleburg Heights, OH is seeking a Machine/Waterjet Operator for the 2nd shift (Mon–Thu, 12:00pm–10:00pm). You will set up and operate a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines and follow process sheets or supervisor instructions to produce parts.

Responsibilities include setting up, operating, and maintaining equipment, verifying product quality at specified intervals, performing in-process inspections, and checking output against tolerances.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency required.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs unassisted.
• Math skills for basic Calculations (fractions to decimals).
• Knowledge of measuring tools (dial calipers, micrometers, tapes).
• Basic PC skills expected.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Mechanical ability to maintain/repair equipment.
• Knowledge of CNC/CAD/CAM is recommended.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and maintain equipment used in production.
• Follow process sheets or supervisor instructions to perform tasks.
• Accurately following instructions, procedures and drawings.
• Verify quality of product at required intervals and ensure tolerance compliance.
