Job summary

Anduril Industries is hiring a 2nd Shift Materials Supervisor for its McHenry, MS site to optimize warehouse operations and oversee hazardous and energetic inventory. You will develop SOPs, drive KPI metrics, and implement lean improvements while ensuring compliance with DoD and explosives-safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in supply chain, logistics, or related field.
• 3+ years in material management/inventory control/supply chain in aerospace/defense manufacturing.
• 1+ year leading supervisors, associates or technicians.
• Onsite in McHenry, MS or willing to relocate.
• Must acquire/maintain explosives-handling qualifications and work around energetics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement material management strategies and procedures to comply with regulations.
• Hire and train talent to manage material flow.
• Improve material handling efficiency and reduce waste.
• Implement systems aligned with government property and inventory policies.
• Maintain ENERGY storage, hazards, and NEW tracking with regulatory compliance.
• Track shelf-life and ensure FEFO disposition for propellants and chemicals.
• Maintain lot/serial traceability from receipt to issue to build process.
• Collaborate with procurement, production, logistics, and QA for demand forecasting and timely deliveries.
• Coordinate inter-building material movements with safety and transport limits.
• Support safety inspections and DoD/ATF compliance with accurate inventory records.
• Analyze usage trends and drive lean improvements.
• Use ERP/WMS to track inventory, generate reports, and ensure data visibility.
