Job summary

Ryder is hiring Temp to Hire Warehouse Associates in Etna, Ohio for second shift roles. The position offers weekly pay, on-the-job paid training, and safety-focused work in clean facilities.

Primary duties include packing, loading/unloading, scanning, and inventory handling using RF scanners. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, and six months of related warehouse experience, with preference for one year or more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of related warehouse experience required.
• One year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
• Learn to operate powered industrial trucks (stand-up/sit-down forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks).

Responsibilities

• Package, kit and/or assemble orders and materials.
• Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers; ensure scanning is completed correctly.
• Train dock staff on new procedures and maintain shift security.
• Perform picking and packing duties and check for product damage.
• Carry out housekeeping duties and participate in team activities.
