Job summary

Toyota is seeking a Tool & Die Group Leader in Long Beach, CA, to supervise a team responsible for building, repairing, and maintaining high-volume stamping dies. • Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership with ability to build trust and communicate effectively.
• Hands-on experience building, maintaining, and repairing high-volume stamping dies.
• Knowledge of sheet metal stamping processes and mechanical/electrical troubleshooting.
• Continuous improvement mindset focused on safety, quality and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily Tool & Die operations and monitor KPIs (Safety, Quality, Productivity, Cost).
• Coach and develop Tool & Die team members ensuring safe practices and technical excellence.
• Coordinate planned and unplanned stamping die maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities.
• Review repair needs, estimate timelines, and prioritize work with production demands.
• Provide technical guidance for die repair, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
