Job summary

Batesville's Manchester Assembly Plant is seeking a Second Shift Superintendent to oversee manufacturing activities for the shift and ensure safety, quality, and on-time production. You will lead a team of supervisors and 5–8 sub group leaders, implement lean manufacturing principles, monitor performance, and develop talent to meet company goals.

Travel up to 25% may be required. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and

A.) from four-year college or university; or eight years similar experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.## Skills/Experience* Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.* Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry. Ability to apply such concepts as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.* Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
