Qualifications

• Training new associates and maintaining legible, accurate records or logs.
• Reviewing documents prepared by team members for accuracy and legibility.
• Reporting unsafe conditions to supervisor when not self-correctable.
• Communicating work practices, procedures, and methods to associates.

Responsibilities

• Update the safety board on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Print and post Pre-Shift Notes weekly.
• Post BLS data and safety recap weekly.
• Track and report all safety numbers for weekly safety call.
• Facilitate monthly audits on fire extinguishers and facility inspections.
• Send the daily Days Safe email.
• Lead the safety committee – ensure minutes are recorded and posted.
• Track and reward safety winners.
• Collect hearing conversation logs weekly and file.
• Ensure all safety posters are updated around the facility.
