Job summary

Pilgrim's in Nacogdoches, Texas is seeking an Operations Management Support to supervise receiving and shipping processes, verify goods against shipment records, oversee inspections, and ensure accurate documentation of materials as they move through the facility.

This role requires a high school diploma and at least 3 years of directly related experience, with a willingness to work 2nd shift and to supervise staff in daily shipping activities, performance coaching, scheduling, and safety

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum 3 years of directly related experience.
Experience supervising receiving/shipping processes preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervises employees in verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments and in preparing items for shipment.
Determines shipping priorities, work assignments, and methods to meet schedules using knowledge of routes and rates.
Directs movement of shipments from shipping/receiving platform to storage and work areas.
Inspects loading operations for compliance with shipping specifications; seals doors and equipment as needed.
Posts weight and shipping charges; prepares bills of lading.
Provides supervision, training, scheduling, and guidance to shipping personnel.
