Job summary

Lakota Local Schools District Wide – Hamilton, Ohio is seeking a Floating Custodian for the second shift to maintain clean, safe, and hygienic school facilities that support student learning and district operations.

The 2nd shift custodian performs routine duties, supports events, and ensures facilities meet sanitation standards during and after school hours. Requires a high school diploma and valid driver's license; prior custodial experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Prior custodial experience preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and operate custodial equipment and cleaning supplies.
• Basic computer use for communication and work assignments is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean, safe, and hygienic school facilities that support student learning and district operations.
• Support building operations and events as needed.
• Ensure facilities meet cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards throughout the school day and after-hours as assigned.
