Fairfield City School District is seeking a 2nd shift custodian at the district-wide level in Fairfield, Ohio. The role supports daily school operations, ensuring a clean, attractive and safe environment for students, staff, and visitors.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with no prior experience required but welcomed. The starting hourly rate is $19.49 and up, with benefits including life insurance, health/dental/vision, retirement, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience desired but not required.
• Must pass FBI/BCI background check.

Responsibilities

• Dust, vacuum, mop, scrub, disinfect and trash removal.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for students, staff and visitors.
• Lift up to 50 lbs as part of routine duties.
