Job summary

Raytheon in McKinney, TX, is seeking a Technical Support Engineer for second shift to support production test schedules and RF hardware. You will work with cross-disciplinary teams, perform electrical engineering tasks, analyze production data for root causes, and assist in rework planning on complex electronic assemblies.

The role requires a STEM degree or equivalent experience, knowledge of RF fundamentals, and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) required or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of RF fundamentals and antenna measurement.
• Familiarity with decibels (dB) and dBm values.

Responsibilities

• Support second shift production test schedules with engineering input.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplined teams of engineers, assemblers and technicians.
• Perform electrical engineering tasks: layout, build, test, troubleshoot, repair and modify electronic or electromechanical devices.
• Analyze production data to determine root causes of failures.
• Plan and execute rework of production assemblies.
• Coordinate tasks in Raytheon antenna ranges and maintain range infrastructure.
