Job summary

Shawsheen Coating and Converting, located in Andover, MA, is seeking a dependable Quality Control Technician for the 2nd shift. You will perform routine lab testing, inspect materials and finished products, and document results to ensure adherence to quality standards.

The role emphasizes attention to detail in a manufacturing environment. Prior QC or inspection experience is preferred, with on-site training available and a strong focus on safety and organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in quality control/inspection preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to document results.

Responsibilities

• Collect samples from the production floor for quality testing.
• Perform routine laboratory tests on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
• Accurately record, document, and enter testing results.
• Identify and report products or materials that do not meet quality standards.
• Assist with evaluating product quality concerns and customer complaints.
• Perform routine calibration checks on laboratory testing equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized laboratory environment.
• Follow established testing procedures, safety guidelines, and environmental requirements.
• Communicate testing results and quality concerns to the Quality Supervisor or Director.
• Assist with additional laboratory projects and quality-related tasks as needed.
