Shawsheen Coating and Converting in Andover, MA is seeking a Quality Control Technician for the 2nd shift to perform routine lab testing, inspect materials, and document results.

You will work with the Quality Supervisor and other team members to ensure products meet established quality standards in a clean, safe laboratory environment. Prior QC/inspection experience is preferred, but organized learners are encouraged to apply.

• Ability to work safely in a laboratory environment and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Willingness to work occasional flexible hours as needed.
• Experience in the tape, coating, or converting industry is a plus.

Shawsheen Coating and Converting is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join our 2nd Shift team in Andover, MA.

As a Quality Control Technician, you will perform routine laboratory testing, inspect materials and finished products, document results, and help ensure Shawsheen’s products meet established quality standards. You’ll work closely with the Quality Supervisor and other team members while helping maintain a safe, clean, and organized laboratory.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collect samples from the production floor for quality testing.
• Perform routine laboratory tests on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.

WHAT WE OFFER

• Base pay of $20-$23 per hour, depending on experience.
• Additional 10% shift differential for working second shift.
• Total second-shift pay of $22-$25.30 per hour, including shift differential.
• Full-time, four-day workweek: Monday-Thursday, 4:00 p.m.-2:00 a.m.
• Three-day weekends.

SCHEDULE & TRAINING

• Regular Second Shift: Monday-Thursday, 4:00 p.m.-2:00 a.m. (four 10-hour shifts).
• Initial Training: May require approximately 45-60 days on first shift, Tuesday-Friday, 6:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m., before transitioning to the regular second-shift schedule.
• Full-time, on-site position in Andover, MA.
