Job summary

Shawsheen Coating and Converting in Andover, MA is seeking a dependable Quality Control Technician for the 2nd shift. You will perform routine laboratory testing, inspect materials and finished products, and document results to ensure quality standards are met.

Prior QC or inspection experience is preferred, but motivated candidates are encouraged to apply. The role includes a four-day, 10-hour shift schedule (Mon-Thu, 4:00 p.m.–2:00 a.m.), a 10% shift differential, and comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of quality control/inspection preferred.
• Experience in a lab or manufacturing setting is a plus.
• Ability to document test results accurately and follow procedures.
• Willingness to learn and work second shift.

Responsibilities

• Collect samples from the production floor for quality testing.
• Perform routine lab tests on raw materials and finished products.
• Record and enter testing results accurately.
• Identify products not meeting quality standards and report findings.
• Calibrate testing equipment regularly.
• Maintain a clean, safe laboratory environment.
• Communicate results to the Quality Supervisor or Director.
• Assist with quality-related projects as needed.
