Job summary

Wenthe-Davidson Manufacturing in Wisconsin is seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector for the 2nd shift (2:00pm–10:30pm) to inspect assemblies, sub-assemblies, and components using precision measuring instruments. You will verify conformance to quality standards and document results in inspection reports.

Candidates should have metrology experience, the ability to read blueprints and GD&T, and familiarity with CMMs and hand tools. High school diploma required; second shift experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Metrology experience and knowledge of precision measurement techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.
• Experience with measurement tools and data collection processes.
• Familiarity with CMM operations is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform first and final piece inspections using precision measuring instruments.
• Prepare and document inspection reports for each piece inspected.
• Convert dimensions to layouts and verify accuracy of layouts.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering and Operations to resolve production issues.
• Operate CMM on second shift and provide direction as needed.
