Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking a Production Supervisor to manage daily operations in our E-coating facility on second shift. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, safety, quality, and continuous improvement to meet production targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred, or equivalent manufacturing leadership experience.
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong team management, coaching, and problem-solving skills with a hands-on leadership approach.
• Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with ability to work cross-functionally.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe workplace and delivering high-quality products.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and support a team of production employees fostering safety, quality, and accountability.
• Monitor and manage daily production schedules to meet output targets and customer requirements.
• Ensure proper staffing levels and coordinate workloads for optimal efficiency.
• Implement and sustain lean manufacturing principles, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Identify and troubleshoot production bottlenecks with engineering and maintenance teams to resolve issues.
• Monitor KPI's, driving actions to improve throughput, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, specifications, and work instructions for coatings production.
• Collaborate with quality control teams to address defects and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
• Work with engineering, supply chain, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations and coordination.
• Support new product introductions and product changes, ensuring proper training and implementation on the production floor.
• Communicate effectively with leadership and staff, providing regular updates on production status and challenges.
