Job summary

Versa-Tags, Inc. is seeking a Second Shift Press Operator to join our production team. Shift: Monday-Thursday with Fridays off; Hours: 2:00pm - 12:00am.

Operate a variety of presses to produce promotional and printed products, with opportunities for cross-training across multiple processes. You will work independently and as part of a high-performing team, maintaining productivity and quality while adhering to safety standards and ERP system procedures.

Qualifications

• Basic computer knowledge required to operate ERP and time-keeping systems.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide two-digit numbers.
• Ability to read and understand simple instructions and communicate information effectively.
• Oral and written communication skills are essential.
• Strong teamwork and adaptability in a production environment.
• Mechanical aptitude and a proactive attitude are important.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety requirements and wear PPE when handling inks or chemicals.
• Maintain quality standards for all work performed.
• Use Time Clock and ERP system accurately for attendance and logging.
• Meet or exceed productivity standards.
• Set up presses with knowledge of registration, guides, materials, and inks.
• Obtain color, adhesion, and registration approvals for each job.
• Communicate daily numbers, scrap, and supply needs to the Supervisor.
• Keep work area clean and organized; log jobs and scrap correctly.
• Operate presses efficiently and be a reliable team member.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Versa-Tags is currently seeking Second Shift Press Operators to join our team!

• Shift: Monday-Thursday with Fridays off!
• Hours: 2:00pm - 12:00am

As a Second Shift Press Operator, you will join our high-performing production team operating a variety of printing equipment - such as digital, screen, and die-cut presses - to produce quality promotional and printed products according to job specifications.

This role requires a desire to grow professionally through cross-training on multiple processes and the ability to work independently while maintaining productivity and quality standards.

What you will be doing:

• Follow all safety requirements, wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while performing job functions related to working with inks or chemicals
• Maintain quality standards for all work performed
• Use Time Clock and ERP system correctly
• Meet or exceed established productivity standards
• Set up various presses (including knowledge of registration, guides, materials, and inks)
• Get approval on all jobs for color, adhesion, registration, imprint, materials, etc.
• Communicate clearly with Supervisor (daily numbers, scrap, etc.) and report to Supervisor when low on supplies
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Log job correctly including scrap
• Operate efficiently
• Be a great team member!
• Other duties as assigned
