Job summary

Versa-Tags, Inc. is seeking a Second Shift Press Operator to join our production team in the USA. You will operate digital, screen, and die-cut presses to produce high-quality promotional and printed products per job specifications.

You will grow professionally through cross-training on multiple processes, while working independently and maintaining productivity and quality standards. This full-time role offers a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Basic computer knowledge required.
• Ability to add/subtract two-digit numbers and perform basic arithmetic.
• Ability to read and understand simple instructions and communicate information effectively.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and maintain a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety requirements and wear PPE when handling inks or chemicals.
• Maintain quality standards for all work performed.
• Use Time Clock and ERP system correctly.
• Meet or exceed productivity standards.
• Set up presses (registration, guides, materials, inks).
• Get approval on color, adhesion, registration, and materials for each job.
• Communicate daily numbers and report low supplies to Supervisor.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Log jobs and scrap accurately.
• Operate efficiently and be a strong team member.

Versa-Tags is currently seeking Second Shift Press Operators to join our team!

• Shift: Monday-Thursday with Fridays off!
• Hours: 2:00pm - 12:00am

As a Second Shift Press Operator, you will join our high-performing production team operating a variety of printing equipment — such as digital, screen, and die‑cut presses — to produce quality promotional and printed products according to job specifications.

This role requires a desire to grow professionally through cross-training on multiple processes and the ability to work independently while maintaining productivity and quality standards.

What You Will Be Doing

• Follow all safety requirements, wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while performing job functions related to working with inks or chemicals
• Maintain quality standards for all work performed
• Use Time Clock and ERP system correctly
• Meet or exceed established productivity standards
• Set up various presses (including knowledge of registration, guides, materials, and inks)
• Get approval on all jobs for color, adhesion, registration, imprint, materials, etc.
• Communicate clearly with Supervisor (daily numbers, scrap, etc.) and report to Supervisor when low on supplies
• Keep work area clean and organized
• Log job correctly including scrap
• Operate efficiently
• Be a great team member!
• Other duties as assigned
